This is my lovely 1993 yamaha wr500
i personally imported this bike from my friend in houston texas and comes with a certificate of title along with all the correct paperwork and hmrc import duties and taxes paid ready for an easy dvla registration if required as this would make the ultimate vinduro bike.
the bike has been subject to a complete restoration 18 months ago by the then owner and friend joe acklen and has only been ridden the bike a few times since the rebuild.
the bike was fully stripped and has been subject to a full nut & bolt restoration and is in full working order. These works included the following:-
crankworks installed a new oem yamaha rod kit and balanced the crank assembly. The cylinder barrel & crankcases were blue printed and the cylinder was also re-bored, honed & ported, plus the cylinder head was reworked and polished. The engine was rebuilt with a new piston kit and all new bearings, seals and new clutch plates. The bike has the stock oem ignition with a new cdi module.
the kyb forks and ohlin rear unit were sent to factory connection and re-built with stiffer springs and new seals & bushings. New bearings were installed in the steering stem, with new dust seals and all new bushings & bearings in the swinging arm & linkage. New wheel bearing's front & rear and the stock hub's were cerakoted in magnesium colour, front & rear brake calipers were rebuilt with all new parts, pistons & seals. The hubs were built up with new did dirt star rims & spokes.

tyres, tubes, rim locks
brake shoes (hubs machined round and new bearings)
head stock bearings & seals
sprockets front & rear
new chain
ohlins rear shock serviced
kyb fork bushes & seals
complete yz seat & fuel tank
mudguards
cables, guides, controls
air filter & cage
engine:
clutch
all bearings
all oil seals & full gasket set
big end & conrod
small end
piston
please note: The oem – wr500 original seat & fuel tank are also being supplied with the bike as spares if case you wanted to return it back to standard.
now ready to simply add fuel and enjoy!
