100250 miles (will go up a bit as driving it) my girlfriend had been using it recently while her
car was in the garage doing 30 miles a day commuting and hasnt missed a beat!
Just had the following works done....
New Exhaust system
New front discs and pads
Recon Brake caliper front O/ S
New O/ S/ F brake hose
Replace brake master cylinder
Had issue with binding front brake, sourced problem to master cylinder, now replaced.
New rear brake shoes
New rear wheel cylinders
New O/ S rear handbrake cable
New Radiator
Oil and Filter Change
Drivers side sill replaced complete outer panel and full length repair
to sill flange join area,
Passenger side Sill repair to rear section inner and outer
Car drives very well, is quite a rare find these days as it has the larger 1. 4 engine thats
sweet running, excellent 5 speed box, clutch feels fine, power steering, it has all the extras such as electric windows, central locking, the remote key is also present but buttons have worn away so this could be sorted
by the new owner if remote locking really wanted, it even has the premium Nissan sound system, with CD player, tweeters and larger factory fitted speakers in the rear parcel shelf, aircon does work but blows only slightly colder air, also has rear parking sensors that work, in fact everything works on the car.
was bought as a temporary runabout and I did the work above at MLMotorsport to prepare it for sale and the mot, which it now has 12 months mot, so its a good to go car, it needed more work for the mot than was thought but always the way with older cars and it drove too well to give up on it and we have probably spent more on it than its worth, the drivers side sill needed the whole outer panel replaced along with the inner part of the floor that picks up on the lower part of the outer sill, all this has been cut out and new metal
welded in, the passenger side rear section was the same so this has also been cut out and welded, the front cross member and the whole floor has been rust treated and undersealed giving the car some more years of service.
