1912 B. S. A 13. 9 Tourer with 4 cylinder Knights Sleeve Valve engine. This is a very rare car, in 1910 B. S. A Bought out the Daimler company and went on to manufacture a B. S. A version of the Daimler tourer. They were only produced for 3 years before world war 1 started, then production of cars came to a halt.
World wide there are only 8 listed with the V. C. C . and as far as I know only 1 other on the road in the uk.
The history of this car is known from when it was delivered new in 1912 to its new owner in Australia. We have a record of its life, including an amazing photo of the owner and his family all going out for the day in 1922. There is a lot more detail of its life in Australia before it was imported back to the uk and restored by Ron Mellowship.
Ron decided to return to his native Australia 3 years ago when I became the proud owner. The car has had a new hood and side sceens custom made since being in my ownership, it Runs, drives and stops and looks splendid.
