West Coast Classics are proud to present a mostly all original surviving example of this 1966 Chrysler Newport 'Firepower' 383/ 325HP 4 BBL 'G' code V8 Convertible with original factory specifications including; upgraded original 'G' code 325HP 383 V8 engine & 'Torqueflite' Automatic Transmission.
The 1966 Newport received new grille work and revised taillights but was otherwise changed very little from 1965. Engine offerings were revised with the 270 hp 383 cu in (6. 3 L) two-barrel continuing as standard equipment while the four-barrel 383 received a 10 hp increase to 325 hp such as this particular example which has been repainted in 'Red' and has it's very nice 'Black' seats interior with a matching 'Black' color power soft top. The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs of any accidents - obviously a mostly always garaged example.
