Description
HERE is a stunning 1948 Morris 10 - a rare model indeed these days - which spent all of its life in New Zealand until 2015 when it was imported into the UK. Thus, you can imagine its structural condition is nothing short of amazing. It is just about as impressive underneath as it is on the panels and paintwork. I gave her a polish this morning and the paintwork is positively mirror-like. It would not surprise me in the least if this paint is the same age as the car which of course is 72-years-old!
A totally rust and rot-free car, you will struggle to find one in this sort of un-molested, un-restored condition. Her interior is just delightful with damage-free tan leather, a superb quality headcloth and a working sunroof. The bakerlite dashboard is in magnificent order too. She starts on the button and runs like a sewing machine. She is a four-geared box with an 1170cc ohv.
All in all, a gorgeous example with excellent chrome work too. It is not often that a classic of this age comes along and you find it difficult to fault in practically any area.
