Completely original and in really great condition for a 1987 motorcycle.
There are no known faults, the paintwork, chrome and frame are in excellent overall condition, there are some marks, scratches to one pannier and a small scratch on the tank.
This is a very rare, very capable, extremely reliable and comfortable collectors bike.
An evolution of the GL500 (CX500 engine) it uses the much more powerful, but similarly economical CX650 engine, which gives an additional 10bhp over the 500.
t's a UK bike with V5 in my name - see photos (originally owned in Northern Ireland, so old MOT certificates are different format)
I've owned three GLs, 1x 500 and 2x 650s this is by far the best and is in better condition than any other I've owned or seen advertised for sale.
Even the luggage handles and latches are bright and solid - usually these are at least quitefaded, if not very rusty.
