Porsche 914 1. 7 with original fuel injection. Runs well and is a great fun little car. Registered as a 2+1 so can actually legally take a small passenger in the middle. I have a lap belt to fit but haven't yet. Surprising amount of storage with a front and rear compartments. This car is pretty much rust free and solid underneath - there has been some professional welding to the floor pans. Must have been previously restored at some stage - hell hole and battery tray all good. Was originally orange as this can be seen in various areas underneath and in the engine bay. There is some poorly repaired damage to the scuttle area where the bonnet had at some stage before I bought it flipped up. The bonnet is also a bit bent. The screen was replaced with new. Tyres are good and the exhaust is a Bursch apparently. Heat exchangers have been welded but I have not refitted the heater blower yet because I am missing the flaps. I'm fairly sure the engine is a replacement unit so the mileage is probably not accurate. I have no trouble selecting the gears but it is notoriously vague compared to other cars due to the location of the gearbox. The complex rear brake calipers have been refurbished, and quite a few of the fuel lines have been replaced. There may be more to do as recommended by the owners club so worth looking into. Please ask any questions and I will try and answer accurately. It is tax and MOT exempt. It went for a Road Safety Inspection (MOT equivalent) last week and flagged up windscreen squirters, number plate light, and near side wheel bearing. The bearing has been done now. Hard to value this car as there are so few available, but I have seen recently imported restoration projects for 8K. The correct UK rear light lenses alone are over £200 a pair!
