1933 Austin London Taxi with unique Cape body.
Only 2 known of in existence.
Body built by "New Avon Body Co" and supplied new by Man and Overton, listed in the original ledger.
Only a few of them originally built (less than 12) and this is the only running one to survive.
Has curved sliding doors unlike the side opening doors on other taxis.
Runs very well. Just done 3 days taxi service at Goodwood revival. All Austin 12 running gear.
Restored 4 years ago and used for filmwork and weddings, covering hundreds of miles, a regular at Goodwood revival.
Blue leather seats for 5 in the rear.
Rare round taxi meter.
Original London reg number.
Lots of paperwork, photographs and letters from past taxi driver owners.
Original Buff logbook.
