1968 Ford Anglia Van 5 Cwt Car needs some work to finish it before it Is roadworthy. I went to Porto in Portugal to get this van, being a hot dry country there is very little rust and from what I can see very little welding with original metal still in place. It has been in a garage the last two decades; A previous owner had started the restoration you can see the gearbox and engine have been reconditioned. Top strut mounts are original and free from corrosion something that is quite rare on any 105E Anglia. Lower edges of front and rear doors also in good condition. The rear windows lower and there is a rear bench for seating. My plan was to fill in the rear window to have a panel van. The car was owned by the Singer Corporation (the sewing machines) at some point in its life which may be why the car has a headliner, rear leather trims for the inside panels and the seats are in good condition, I’m yet to see another van with all these. All major components present (engine, gearbox, prop, interior etc) does not start as no battery and ignition components not installed.
UK registered with V5C present and in my name, car rolls but will need trailering away.
