Available now at Peter Vardy Heritage in Edinburgh, 106 GTI finished in its original hue of Mauritius Blue with black leather and synthetic suede upholstery. A wonderful example presented in lightly modified condition but with all its original parts. Under the bonnet is the 1. 6-litre ‘TU5J4’ inline-four, producing 118bhp and driving the front wheels via an engaging five-speed manual transmission. Weighing in at only 950kg, this hot hatch can sprint from 0-60mph in only 7. 4 seconds.
