This DMW Hornet Road Racer has been restored to full original factory specifications (I was involved with the factory at the time).
The bike is frame number HO33 of approx 50 made between 1964 and 1968.
New parts include :- Alloy tank, fairing, seat, rear shocks, alloy rims & spokes, clipons, levers, all cables, chain & sprockets, & exhaust.
The engine has been rebuilt by Simon Bateman at Nametab, incorporating a Yamaha big-end/ con-rod assy. & Suzuki piston. Ignition is a new, very reliable, PVL self generating unit. Carburettor is 1 1/ 2" GP with remote float.
Tyres are original Dunlop 'triangulars' so definitely for show purposes only!!
Motor will require running in and caburettion setting.
Included in the price are some maintenance spares and service tools.
