Relisted due to buyer unfortunately falling ill. A chance to own a 1968 ID20 with the rare black version of the second D dashboard (one year only). 2. 0l 4sp manual LHD. Power steering, twin circuit, high pressure brakes, Citroen suspension system, steering driving lamps and self leveling headlights.
I've owned the D for 4 years and have been restoring it while it had been on the road. Extensive work carried out to the floor and sill sections - replaced with new repair sections. Extensive engine servicing including new; cylinder head gasket, timing chain, breathers, engine mount, gaskets, clutch, clutch bearing, flywheel ring gear, flywheel bearing, camshaft bearing, water pump, Ignition system.
Mechanically strong and with some upgraded items such as additional right hand (passenger)air blower and HiFi system with 4" two way front speakers and rear subwoofers in the parcel shelf and elevated tweeters in the rear pillars as well as a new starter motor relay.
Now simply needs the bodywork fixed up properly.

2x front 4" 2 - way speakers, 2x rear 6" subwoofers and 2x tweeters with cross overs fitted. front speakers barely visible in lower dashboard ends, The subs fitted into rear parcel shelf - visible and not to everyone's taste but easily covered. Tweeters in rear C pillars at raised level for best sound.

Modified parts and overhauls:
subtle LED position lights for non illuminated dashboard switches
auxilliary RH blower fan fitted (normally only fitted to RHD Ds)
new air intake tubes upgraded to heat - repellant type (aluminium not cardboard)
Rebuilt front and rear suspension system height correctors and overhauled contact points and linkages
Rebuilt hydraulic system pressure regulator with pressure settings reshimmed.
All return hoses for LHM hydraulic system tank refitted with tight ligorex bands.
Replaced HP pump

Overhauled heater control valve
Relay fitted for ignition circuit
LED boot light in addition to original light.
Original rear indicator plastic 'trumpets' replaced with stainless steel of ID20/ DSuper/ DS20
Replacement carburetor rebuilt, refaced and ultrasonic clean
Fuel tank removed, cleaned and internal clean with pickling liquid (now replaced with new)
Fuel tank housing painted
Inspected, adjusted and cleaned rear brake drums and shoes.
Headlights' self leveling damper unit rebuilt with replacement diaphragms and new LHM fluid refilled.
Engine room, undertray, brake air ducts and L & R wheelarch inner panel cover areas all cleaned heavily.
Boot area inspected for corrosion and cleaned up and painted to preserve.

Bad points:
Paintwork was badly repainted in the past and some bad areas of body repair that are visible. I have improved it with 1200 grade sanding then 3000 and 6000grade wet sanding and then polish to bring up the flat shine where needed. Still presentable overall but it is the next main task for the car.
Heated rear window element isn't working although the electric circuit itself works.
Front carpet is from a different model of DS but the colour matches well - lifts out to change.
1x swivelling headlamp reflector is a bit degraded although light output still good.
Rear bumper has been dinged in the past - straightened and rebuilt but not 100% perfect.
headlamps dipped beam is still LHD pattern.
interior roof headlining is missing (although a previous keeper has trimmed it in sponge underlay).
