We are delighted to offer this stunning, rare, manual, BMW E36 M3 EVO Convertible with only 63, 183 warranted miles from new. Finished in cosmos black metallic paint, this car also comes with "Vader" style electric seats, that although appear to have been added at a later date by a later owner, are extremely rare and sought after. In addition, It has just had a full service at a BMW specialist including spark plugs and a brake fluid service.

History of the E36 M3:
The M3 model of the E36 3 Series was released in November 1992 and was initially available as a coupé only, with a convertible version added in 1994. In September 1995, a facelift version of the coupé was introduced. Changes included the engine displacement increasing to 3. 2 L, the manual transmission upgrading from a 5-speed to a 6-speed, different wheels and clear indicator lenses. The facelift changes were applied to the saloon model in November 1995 and the convertible model in February 1996. The facelift models in late 1995 were upgraded to a 3, 201 cc version of the BMW S50 engine, generating 236 kW (316 bhp) at 7, 400 rpm and 350 N/ m (258 lb/ ft) of torque at 3, 250 rpm.

As for this specific E36 M3 Evo convertible, we have the original dealer business cards with the book packs, and have subsequently spoken to the dealer, which is now Listers BMW Kings Lynn to confirm that this particular BMW E36 M3 Evo convertible was purchased new in 1999 and supplied by Sorensons BMW in Kings Lynn, Norfolk to a Mr Baker. We also have the running in service Inspection sheet dated 19/ 04/ 1999 to confirm Mr Baker had the running in service completed at 1, 467 Miles. Mr Baker then sold the car to another local Kings Lynn individual who confirmed to us, that he brought it from him at a show, because he fell in love with it and quote, "just had to own it". After securing his new pride and joy, the second owner enjoyed it as a second car for nearly 17 years! He also informed us that this particular car was actually used for a large online and television advertising campaign, by Adrian flux insurance. He also told us he enjoyed taking it to local shows, and using it at weekends mainly, before becoming, in his words "too old to handle it" and selling it on to owner three back in 2019. The third owner, who was also from Kings Lynn Norfolk had it in his private collection of BMWs, only using it very occasionally before being forced to sell it due to lack of space, and covid business implications.

Paperwork:
We have a good amount of history for this car as well as 2 keys. The paperwork includes the handbooks and leather book pack, running in service inspection sheets, the BMW GB Certificate of compliance for the Anti-theft system dated 08/ 03/ 1999. A print out of all the visits the car has had to BMW dealers with dates, mileages and dealer numbers, this comes to a total of 27 visits from 1 Mile in 1999 all the way until 57, 746 Miles in 2010, all of which corroborates the mileage of 63, 183 miles, the current and previous V5s, MOT history back to 2007, the latest MOT expires June 2022 and has no advisory's. Invoices for service and maintenance work, including the most recent invoice from the BMW specialist dated August 2021 for the full service, brake fluid service, replacement of trailing arm bushes with Powerflex long lasting bushes, repair and replacement to the roof latch motor gears, New Bosch Wiper blades and finally a new N/ S/ F brake pipe.

Condition:
Overall this car is in exceptional condition for its age and mileage. The paintwork has been treated to an extremely in depth, and expensive, three stage detail and polish by the previous owner, just before he parted ways with the car. Generally, the exterior car is in very good condition, the Cosmos black metallic paint has a deep reflective shine, and shows no sign of rust or major accident repair, we have also done a full history check, and can confirm the car is HPI clear. As well as the history check, all of our cars have full 100 point health checks, these checks are completed by a team of BMW specialist mechanics with over 100 years combined experience to ensure the vehicles safety, and that mechanically, it is as good as it can be. Whilst this car was having its checks and work done we asked them to check the vanos for us, as its a known common issue with the S50 M3 engines. They were happy to confirm that everything is working correctly and you only have to start the car and listen to it yourself to hear how quiet it is to confirm this yourself. The interior is also in overall great order, there is some slight wear on the drivers seat bolster however its not excessive and some slight wear on the steering wheel however everything else looks great. The car doesn't appear to have been smoked in. The convertible roof works just as it should and the hard top roof is in perfect working order and good condition too, in fact, the previous owner went to the trouble of having the hard top roof lining professionally re trimmed in black Alcantara suede which looks fabulous. We have driven the car just over 40 miles for a photo shoot, and after collecting it from its health check, and can confirm it drives exactly how it should, it was an absolute pleasure to drive back through the Norfolk coastal roads, and in truth, we will be sad to see it leave. The only small thing to please note, due to the "Vader" seats being fitted at a later date sadly the heated seats that the car came with no longer work however, if you wished you could re fit the stock M3 seats and plug the heated seats back in as the wiring is there, alternatively you can buy retro fit heated seat kits if you so wished. for us though, it doesn't detract from the car at all but we like to make our buyers aware of everything no matter how small.
