Owned this car for 6 years, Previously owned by Roland Arthur Birley. He bought it off my local Ford Dealership (Pertwee & Back) new in 1989, and owned it until his death. A friend of mine bought it to do up but didn't have time, I then got hold of it and have used it over the past for years. Including trips to Newcastle & Kettering with no problems whatsoever!
If it needed doing, it was done. Clutch is very good, engine is nice and strong, no oil leaks (except a small amount from rocker cover gasket - normal on the Cologne V6 BUT doesn't use any oil). No cambelt to worry about - chain and tensioner.
Ford dealership maintained until 35k, I bought the car at 41k it is now showing just over 53k.
Just off the top of my head over past 6 years:
4 new tyres
New air flow meters
New Idle Control Valve
New centre and rear exhaust
Poly Rear beam bushes
NOS Rear wishbones inc all new poly bushes
New Gearbox mount
New rear shocks and top mounts
New anti roll bar Poly bushes, front and rear
New rack ends and ball joints etc
New fuel pump
New fuel pressure regulator
New sway bar linkages
New correct font replacement Ford Pertwee & Back number plates
Plus, general service items, leads, distributor, plugs, etc all done regularly. Including replacement diff and gearbox oil - often forgotten! I have stacks and stacks of receipts for all of this work.
Brand new complete inner and outer sills and arches done last year, So no rot to worry about! The chassis is original and has no rot, there are the odd bubbles in the paintwork, one on drivers door, and a few on the boot, but nothing major for a 32 year old car. (Again pictures to show all this work)
Original radio cassette in perfect working order.
Electric mirrors, inc heating elements working perfectly.
Front fogs.
Fitted with a towbar, with electrics, and an ignition wired dashcam inc rear camera.
Also fitted with a rooftop aerial as the original aerial uses the rear window demist element and is useless.
Original rubber mats included.
Now the bad points, and there aren't many!
One of the rear windows doesn't work - The motor is open circuit. All others work fine.
The sunroof leaked badly, but was seized (Manual sunroof) so we couldn't open it to clean the drain pipes! So was very neatly sealed with silicone, and has not leaked since.
There are a few scuffs on the bumpers here and there but again, nothing major.
6 original ford wheeltrims present (2 spare - hens teeth!) mostly cracked and have tabs on the back missing but still look ok.

No time wasters, stupid offers (No I don't want to swap for a boat or a rotten transit!) or tyre kickers etc. If you don't want the car, don't bother. I don't want to sell it, but I have far too many other classics that now need attention.
And no I will not post! Car is for collection in Great Yarmouth, Fully road legal taxed and MOT until APRIL next year. I may be able to pass on details of a transport company I know if needed.
