“Hello Cooper S Enthusiasts” Here’s my 1275 Standard S newly restored.
This Original car was laid up in the late 9o’s and then dismantled and stored. I purchased the car incomplete in 2001 with invoiced history from the late 70’s. It has its original Engine and Gearbox (333), very good shell along with its Factory Heritage Certificate.
Since 2017 the car has been expertly and carefully rebuilt by a top body specialist and has been professionally repainted by Paul Preston.
The car is still on its original Hydrolastic Suspension which has also been completely refurbished. In fact 95% of the car has been refurbished except for the Original “S” Speedo.
Both the Engine and Gearbox have been meticulously re-worked with no cheap Chinese parts used. Last month the car was rolling road tuned which resulted in its performance figures being better than when it was new.
The car comes with 2 complete books of history and after all of its refurbishment it ranks amongst the Best Cooper S’s available.
