1964 Mercedes Unimog ex French fire service.
Straight 6 petrol 13, 700 km with service history.
Used as a standby vehicle hence the low kms and maintained regardless of cost.
Totally original condition, even the paint. Never welded.
There is some rust on the water tank floor but the cab and chassis are in very good condition.
The only rust is on the headlight panel (see photo), and surface rust on the bonnet where a sticker was removed and it lifted the paint. Would make a great overland camper, it is the hard top version with wind up windows.
Kerb weight in its current state is 3300kg with a gross weight of 4400kg.
Those who are familiar with these trucks will know their off road capabilities. It has 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, 2 or 4 wheel drive with diff locks. Portal axles which give a 16" ground clearance. Front and rear PTO. The tyres are tired and there is no spare wheel.
We have all the French documents and a NOVA declaration so no import duty to pay. We can register it here in the UK if required.
