1971 Land Rover Series 2A 109’ Safari
This Landy was extracted from its resting place in March 2021. It was last taxed in 1991 and believed to have been sat in the barn ever since.
The Landy was taken to Jack Fielder Landrover where it undertook light restoration to get it back into a roadworthy condition. In all, it was in very good condition for its age with only 2 small areas of welding needed on the original chassis.
Whilst at Jack Fielder Landrover:
2 areas of chassis welded.
Wiring repaired and reconnected.
New fuel tank & sender unit fitted.
Gearstick Rebuild
New Parabolic Leaf Springs & Shock absorbers
Brake overhaul
New clutch cylinder.
Since Fitted:
New Glow Plug
4 new tyres
New Speedometer Cable
Re-wired Front Spot Lights
Other than the listed above the vehicle is believed be in near original condition.
