Benova Automobiles decided in mid-20th to build 5 sportcars for racing. This car is the only one with steering wheel on the left side.
The engine (Chapuis-Dornier) is overhauled.
Front axel PERROT-PEGANAU, was olso used on some Bugatti models.
The car is approved and registered without light (in EU).
CHAPUIS-DORNIERC was a french independent engine manufacturer with great success on the race track from about 1910, and was one of the first engines with overhead valves. In the mid 30's and up to the 50's Chapuis-Dornier delivered standard engine (F-head), also to Buick and Chevrolet.
