Here i have my 2006 mazda rx-8 231bhp, 6 speed for sale. FULL YEARS MOT.
The engine was rebuilt in december/ january by the renowned rotary revs in west yorkshire. The engine comes with the remainder of the 12 month warranty, which can be extended to 3 years, subject to rotary revs inspecting the vehicle within 45 days of change of ownership. This car has been a labour of love to say the least. I have spent between £7, 000 & £8, 000 in the past 12 months with a plethora of new parts as well as a full nut and bolt gold engine rebuild. The car has only covered 55, 500 miles from new. I am the sixth owner. I have a full history for the car. It is mot’d till the end of january 2023.
No hot or cold start issues, pages worth of new parts and receipts. Full engine rebuild including new rotors, new housings and front, rear and middle irons, plugs, coil packs, leads, and the upgraded starter motor which is the 3kw one, i have also had rotary revs install tien adjustable coil over suspension, new drop links all round, new pads and new discs to name but a few. The car is on oem wheels with goodyear f1 tyres which have most of their tread remaining (great tyres). this is a very reluctant sale due to me now needing an automatic car. I am more than happy to provide any detailed information needed. The car is now two tone, the base coat has not been lacquered as i prefer the car with a matte finish, it can be lacquered if you choose to though.
the air con motor needs replace, however i choose not to have it. You can do the air con delete mod (allows more air to the engine) or replace it cost effectively. The hot and cold blowers still work.
the car has the full bose surround sound system and multi stack cd player which sounds great. Heated driver and passenger seats, and electric drivers seat.
led side lights, and some interior lights. Xeon headlight bulbs installed. The car is quick and nimble, allowing acceleration upto 9500rpm through each of the 6 gears.
any questions are welcomed from genuine buyers. I am looking for £4250 or a very sensible offer close to that figure. I have the v5 in my name and the car comes with 2 key fobs.
some of the receipts are in the pictures. This year it’s also had a new oem cat fitted, full new exhaust system 3 years ago (the car went off the road shortly after having it fitted) and a new fuel/ air ratio sensor has been fitted this year.
the car has also been to mazda (south street) this year and had all outstanding recalls completed, fuel tank seals, airbags and airbag sensors ect. Looking for a quick sale. Please bare in mind that the price advertised for the car barely covers the engine rebuild alone, not including the rest of the money spent. You are buying an RX-8 with a practically brand new engine, this gives you peace of mind in a car that is notoriously know for its problematic rotary engine, it’s a good place to start for an RX-8 owner.
