Bought this rare bike along with its older brother (750) late August but a change in circumstances sees me having to let them both go. In no rush to sell as aware of their rarity & value & won't be giving it away. Any test or trial. Uk model. 22k miles. MOT 07/ 22. I've included original description of work from previous owner below. V5 in my name. Viewing welcomed. Possible personal delivery or trusted bike mover.
It is the original colour for the bike and it has had some paintwork done on it , paint supplied by RS paints so I could get the best colour match.
The bike has had a full strip down and thorough checkover to include ;
Head bearings
Wheel bearings
Swingarm bearing
Fork seals and fork oil
Oil and filter
Timing chain replacement (I changed it as recommended change is around 24k miles)
Valve clearances checked and adjusted ( 3 shims changed)
New tyres Bridgestone BT016R's
Carbs cleaned and balanced
Wheels refurbed
Brakes refurbed
New exhaust silencer , EU stamped with removable baffle.
Loads of other little jobs done like bracketry sand blasted and repainted .
Superlight little bike with great handing and economic to run 50mpg and cheap tax (£48 p. a.)
These bikes will only go up in value as Candy red ZXR's (400 and 750) in particular are quite rare , so a good investment
