Very rare 1951 MG TD MKII for sale. Absolutely superb condition throughout. Re imported to the UK in 2009 and soon after that it ended up in the hands of the guys at Mathewsons Classic Auctions (Bangers and Cash fame) where it was we believe subjected to a complete restoration, the quality of the work is outstanding and is the reason why the car still shows so well some 13 years later. Sold by the team at Mathewsons in 2014 to a lady in Redcar. Speaking to the guys over there it was only sold to thin down their collection and they already had another TD which they decided to keep. The lady kept the car from 2014 to 2021, going by the old MoT's the car has done less than 1, 000 miles since the restoration. The MKII had a number of changes from the standard TD including twin SU fuel pumps, double shock absorbers and larger carburettors.
Complete with full weather equipment of convertible top and side screens, which by looking at them have never seen any inclement weather.
It was decided to leave the car in left hand drive but this can be converted to right hand drive at an extra cost.
