1988 BMW E24 635 CSI HIGHLINE
Fresh into stock is this extremely collectible and uber cool E24. Comes complete with a fresh mot and a huge folder full of history and old MOT’s and both key’s and even some old tax discs. It has had just 4 former keepers from new , the last owner having it for some thirteen years in total and only sold it through necessity. Mileage is 154k supported by all the aforementioned documentation.
It is finished in the very desirable combination of black over a light grey leather interior and being a highland trim has every conceivable piece of the interior covered in leather - even the headlining! , it has the period correct trx alloy wheels as so many e24’s do not with good tyres and also benefits from the much more collectible shadow line exterior trim as opposed to chrome.
We have decided to market these vehicle at an unbelievably competitive price allowing for some minor works to be completed due to huge current stock levels, a vehicle in pristine condition is worth double what we are asking for ours and incredibly rough non roadworthy “barn finds” normally sell for this price so I do not expect it to last long .
Please bear in mind this is a fully roadworthy car that drives very well indeed with a recent mot , various works were required for the mot including various bulbs, new anti roll bar drop links, new battery and clamps etc. From 5 yards the vehicle looks extremely presentable but upon closer inspection there is some bodywork required to make perfect, there is a scratch on the drivers door, some marks on both front wings and some corrosion lower down one of the rear wheel arches and below the offside rear light although not excessive. The drivers seat has cracking and wear (but no rips) to the edge of both outside seat cushions - these panels can be replaced easily by a competent trimmer for less than £200 imo.
All wheels have just been powder coated also. It is of course fully HPI clear, happy to supply further photograph’s and video to confirm condition.
