A truly unique machine in great condition, always turns heads and a great conversation piece when stopped.
1951 registered and as a 175 four stroke engine, frame has girder forks and I believe older than 1951. It’s an Automoto from Paris with an AMC engine
Many bespoke and unique parts in particular the handmade alloy tank and air box as well as other parts, see photos. The bike also has a powder coated frame in a light sage green and has a number of nice brass fittings
Lights are domestic battery supplied and cosmetic only but headlight and rear unit are really nice
Trials tyres fitted and front beginning to show age, modern front wheel with a better drum brake but looks the part
Speedo in alloy case but is a more modern unit, mileage cannot be verified on clock
Exhaust now has a tape wrap and rear megaphone painted Matt black and again looks good
Starts easily and runs well and is a joy to ride once you have mastered it. Also has a hand shift for gears which works but I use the foot change
Exhaust bolt needs replacement but is in place at present and throttle cable could be better but works fine
Amal carb fitted but have original Solex unit if needed. Also have French magazine from 1949 ( Revue Technique) that contains bike and engine details
Only selling as my son now rides and want to join him on off road adventures
This is a one off vintage machine and you will not be disappointed as someone has spent a great deal on this bike. Happy to send more pictures or details on request
