I've been the 3rd owner since May 1995. The car has been a NatAlfa club car since 2011. The car was originally a GTV6 2. 5 V6 in Bianco Spino (White). First colour change to Rosso 501 in 1999. refreshed in 2020 to Rosso 530. Drivetrain mods were carried out in 1999-2004 to accommodate a 12v Turbo with a front mounted Getrag gearbox and Alfa 6 sedan diff in 1999. Then upgraded to a 24v V6 Turbo in 2006 and finally a 3L 24v NA with a later spec Getrag gearbox in 2010. The different front spoiler and bonnet plus interior came off one of the 212 genuine race homologation Alfa GTV6 that was fitted to this car in 2007.
There are no cracks on this car's dash. Car was always garaged away from rain and dew also avoiding driving in the rain. Car does run smoothly, everything has been balanced, from engine sub assembly together with its front pulley, custom flywheel and clutch and of course propshaft, which has 2 u-joints now instead of the 3 rubber couplings. Front brakes also upgraded to 12 inch discs and Alfa 166 callipers. Car goes better and quicker than the race homologation 116 series GTV6s, in my opinion, no troublesome 6 carbs, no floppy gear selection, no rubber couplings in drivetrain with the propshaft rotating at engine speed, all the things that added to the character of the 116 series cars but also what their hated weak points were..
Fuelling and ignition is controlled by Powermods system, software can be downloaded off their website. I will supply all part numbers or which car that they come from, which are readily available over any spare shop counter. The car will come with spare cylinder heads, injectors and invoices that date from 1996-2021 and owner's manual.
The car is now 40 years and therefore tax exempt.
