Recently finished a refurb, having a full respray inside and out in original 2pack deep bronze green, the cab and body was completely striped of paint back to bare metal etch primed and them 2k primed.
The truck was in extremely original condition when found, with one of the best cabs I have seen.
Very good tyers all round, with a bran new spare.
Inside the cab was completely repainted to.
She runs and drives a treat, crash gearbox, is a pleasure to drive.
Original engine
Will happily do 45mph to 50mph no problem.
The rear is a basic camper, would benefit from modernising.
Paint alone cost £600 to paint this truck!
She’s MOT TAX and HGV exempt drive on a car licence
My personal opinion she’s got to be one of the nicer k9s out there. She’s mechanically very good, very original, and a very iconic 1950s post war truck. Also comes in the sale is the original tent that bolts up to the side of her, which is quite a hard piece to find now days.
