1 of only 186 built by Mercury/ ASC McLaren on 1985.
Built on the same assembly line and at the same time as the Fox Body Mustangs, on completion they were shipped to Mercury/ ASC McLaren for conversion into Capri Convertibles. Mostly bodywork, as the mechanics are the same as the Mustangs of the same year.
This vehicle had a full body respray, "original colour" last year, the seats were rebuilt and recovered at the same time.

The vehicle is located in, and has always been in Forida, where I am the third owner. So no rust either body or underneath,(no snow, no salt, no accidents)
It is only a two seater, the rear seats were removed to make an area for the roof to be stored when lowered, the engine is the Ford 302 and the transmission is the Ford AOD (Automatic OverDrive).
