One previous owner - Mercedes Demonstrator from new. He had the car since January 2007.
Just had 2 x New Genuine Mercedes-Benz Batteries (Starter Battery and Main Battery) - almost £400!
Since batteries were fitted, various warning lights on dash - ESP, ABS, Parking Sensors, Distronic, Command System, Nav, Radio not operating properly, etc. This will need connecting up to a Star diagnostic and resetting.

Starts first time. Pulls well (apart from the aforementioned misfire). This misfire improves once the car is warm and at motorway speeds, you hardly notice it. Will still do 100+ mph with ease and get you where you need to go - I have taken it to Leeds and back a few times. No overheating. Slight oil weep from the rocker cover gasket.

Will do a genuine 28+ MPG on a steady run, which is pretty impressive for this luxury saloon.
Smooth, quiet and comfortable - it just glides along.
Suspension is tight and solid, with no knocks or bangs. It has the legendary S Class magic carpet ride, which irons out any road bumps.
Brakes are strong and stop the car fine.
19" AMG Staggered Alloy Wheels with excellent tyres all round.
In presentable condition for the year and mileage, but not new or perfect: there are marks, blemishes and stone chips as to be expected. A couple of oxidisation bubbles, but no rust or rot.
The interior is in good order and has worn the miles very well. No rips or tears. No knocks or bangs. Everything feels tight and solid, as you would expect from a flagship £90k Mercedes. The cabin is a very soothing place in which to complete a journey. The seats are superbly comfortable and supportive.
Lights, wipers, windscreen washers, windows, pano roof, electric seats, heated seats, electric steering, heated steering etc. all operate correctly.
Comes with: 2 x Remote Key Fobs (one needs a new battery), Mercedes Leather Folder, Mercedes S Class User Manuals, MOT History Print Out.
No time wasters or silly offers - this is the cheapest W221 shape S500L with this spec currently for sale in the UK, and possibly even Europe. Priced accordingly with the faults listed.
Sold as Seen and as Spares or Repairs, due to the outlined faults. These issues don't stop it from being used as a mode of transport! It can still be used and it is used daily, and will get you where you need to go. It looks like a £20k+ car and turns head everywhere it goes.
This was a £90k car when new with the options it has, and it would break for more money.
