The paintwork is in very good condition and still retains its factory glossy shine, there are very few blemishes especially considering the age of the car. It has evidently only seen tarmac as the underside is one of the cleanest I have ever seen, it has been treated to a full Waxoyl to future proof it. All rubbers and plastics are in great shape showing no sign of fading - this Range Rover must have been garaged for most of its life. The optional 'Mondial' alloy wheels are in good condition and tyres have ample tread remaining.
Moving to the interior, again this car really is in remarkable shape; all leather is free to tears and cracking and look to have been treated regularly over the years, even the drivers seat bolster is showing little sign of usage. All the plastic and wood trim is immaculate and the steering wheel clean. Under the boot floor is a full size spare wheel and full set of tools. The wheel is shod in its original Pirelli Scorpion and feasibly could have never been used.
The car has just been treated to a complete new headlining as the old one was starting to sag (very common on P38's) and the radio has been sent back to Clarion for a refurbishment and now works without fault and includes an AUX input and new LCD display.
This Range Rover drives very well and pulls strongly through the gears, the engine is silky smooth. The air suspension works without fault; it raises and lowers at the touch of a button and lowers at speed.
To summarise, this worry free P38 Range Rover is ready to drive and enjoy with any potential engine problems taken care of. It has clearly been loved throughout its life and most probably garaged. It could make a very cool retro, reliable, daily driver or put away as an investment as values of good 90's Range Rovers are on the rise.
