Purchased from a well known Porsche specialist prior to the summer and has been totally reliable for everyday use without any issues.
It drives without fault and has a new MOT.
Stunning condition car professionally wrapped in a Gulf Racing livery by HD Wraps that Mike Brewer raved about
recently as one of the best wrapping companies!
Arctic silver underneath (I removed the wrap from the mirrors and door surrounds to get an aluminium look
and the paint is perfect where you'd normally expect stone chips etc. I believe under the wrap to be in the same order).
The orange stripes are separate to the blue as are the roundels / decals so you could if preferred just have a Gulf blue car without
the stripes or roundels etc. The whole car shines and you can polish the wrap etc. It was done several years ago prior to my ownership
and is still in excellent order.
19" Carrera wheels - these have been professionally done in Gulf orange at a cost of nearly £600. They have no damage or scrapes.
They are expensive desirable wheels from the Carrera 997 and give the car an excellent stance without lowering.
Black leather in perfect condition with perfect carpets. The interior on these 987 cars is as the 997 Porsche and an incredible improvement
on the older Boxster interiors.
Electric roof, roll over bar with mesh and perspex screen with Porsche crest in Gulf orange.
Electric rear spoiler. Sport mode.
91, 000 miles with 8 service stamps in the book- in the summer the car had a major service including spark plugs / brake fluid change by the Porsche specialist I purchased it from.
IMS Bearing- This model is from 2006 and has the stronger version bearing- I researched the engine number to verify when purchased.
It only effects 1-3% of these cars and they would be low mileage cars. As mine has done 91k it's reassuring!
HPI clear. 91k miles, please note that the odometer was changed to Km (electronically selected) for a couple of years before 2014 for overseas travelling and some of the Mots from then show a higher reading (because mot tester put down the km reading!)
Many receipts and paperwork from over the years including clutch, service history, just had major service too.
Comes with a Gulf blue Porsche keyring and Gulf wash kitbag!
A visually stunning car with a nod to Porsche racing in the 60s in its Gulf livery, I like the fact that its a 2. 7 too like the Carrera RS cars from '72 - '73. The car has never been tracked or raced but could go further with the look with a stripped out interior and Porsche bucket seats etc, then it would be ideal as a track day car etc...
