1967 Wolseley Hornet
Engine: 117bhp @6750rpm (after engine rebuild in Lockdown July 2020)
- A Plus block
- Stage 4 head with Rimflo valves polished and ported to suit inlet and exhaust manifolds
- HIF44 with MED Stub stack and air filter
- 1. 5 solid rockers with race double valve springs and race pushrods
- stage 2 maniflow LCB Exhaust Manifold and custom centre exit single box maniflow tail section
- Swiftune camshaft kit (cam, followers and oil pump)
- Swiftune duplex vernier timing gear kit
- H&H distributer to suit the engine spec
2017 Rebuild:
- Full respray in GR4 Tweed grey with a gloss black roof
- New floor pans, heelboards, inner and outer sills and battery box.
- Subframes stripped painted and rebuilt (hydro serviced at the same time)
- New brake pipes and hydro pipes throughout
- cooper s disc brakes rebuilt with new pistons and seals
- new steering rack
- new headlining
- new wiring loom
- new window seals
- safety devices roll cage fitted
- electric windscreen washer
- new electric heater
- converted to rod change (gearbox fully rebuild at the same time with CV type driveshafts and race oil pick up pipe
Sat on original cooper s rims this Wolseley Hornet is not to be missed. Very unique, a joy to drive and very quick. Ideal for road rallies, hillclimbs and long distance touring events such as HEROs.
