A 1984 mazda 323 1. 3 BD with only 75246 on clock in 37 years. I have pretty much all the mot/ service documents from the last 5/ 6 years. The correct Haynes manual will be included with the car. The car runs perfectly and has never not started in my year of ownership in which it has been my daily driver doing 40 mile journeys during the week. All electronics and mechanics are in working order. I have only ever run it on E5 Premium petrol due to the effect E10 has on classics. The engine makes a bit of a rattle but it is only vibrations from the bonnet and the newly custom made exhaust. The interior is in fantastic condition with all upholstery without holes expect the drivers seat which has one. Vintage cassette deck fitted which is actually brand new and old stock from the early 80s, that all works with 4 speakers, 2 front, 2 back. Heater works perfectly hot and cold windows all wind perfectly etc, overall everything is working. Bodywork needs tlc to make this an almost perfect example of this car, there are few rusty bits, one by the rear arch and two the bottom of the front bumper, there is also a primer paint mark on the back corner as well as paint scratches due to this being the original paint it came out the factory with. Plenty of history, original dealer sticker on window still, original sale document from the original dealership which is very local. Has had some work done under my ownership, New exhaust made, fuel mix adjustments/ retune, cv boot joints replaced. These were all done at proper garages with a couple done at classic car garages and not work done by myself although this car is very easy to work on. Did fail it's last mot due to rubber boot joints, fuel mix and wheel bearing but all have been fixed and it has an mot till Dec 2022. Will need taxing however. It is surprisingly roomy with its 5 seats and hatchback boot and the 1. 3 engine is rugged and a lot of fun. It's features include: heated rear windscreen, rear windscreen wiper/ washer, 3 speed front windscreen wipers, 5 speed gearbox, manual choke, rear fog lamps, brand new cassette stereo with 4 speakers, interior boot and fuel cap release, seat lumber adjustments etc, toolkit in boot, spare wheel (will need a new tyre), strong heater with a lot of different options, old style analogue clock, original dealer sticker from I think 1986. I have the spare trim that will need reattaching on the outside of the wheel arch, a spare rear lamp, spare fuel pump if ever needed. Overall a great daily driver with cheap insurance that is a lot of fun so perfect for a new driver who wants a reliable easy to work on classic.
