Lovely original Mercedes 200E Auto. First registered 24/ 8/ 92 by Stillmans Ltd Mercedes Dealership. This car has pretty much been in the same family since new with invoices dating from 1997 to support this. A real time warp car with a full service book even including notes on various repair items undertaken within. It comes with supporting invoices for servicing, parts and consumables from 1997 to date. A full key set including the leather enclosed master car, plus all handbooks and manuals, every tax disc since 2001 and every MOT certificate from 1996 to the current date. The car even still wears its original Stillmans Ltd Mercedes number plates.
The interior is pretty much unmarked and is in amazing condition. The seats, carpets and headlining are immaculate. It has its original Blaupunkt cassette player still in place and it’s unopened first aid case in the rear parcel shelf. All the electrics including the roof work perfectly.
The original exterior paintwork does require some attention mainly to rectify lacquer crazing to the roof, roof pillars bonnet and rear wing around the aerial point. It also a small amount of rust on both front wings. However, the car is very straight on the flanks and all the shut lines are excellent.
The car drives exceptionally well for a 30 year old vehicle with smooth gear changes, assured braking and responsive engine the just purrs along. This is a lovely well documented affordable well built classic which can be used as is or made superb with the paintwork rectification highlighted.
