1995 Lotus Esprit S4 2. 2 Turbo - 265 Bhp in outstanding condition. Red with leather beige interior.
This is the S4 model which was the first esprit to have power steering so driving it is a joy
I am the third owner of this vehicle, I purchased it in February 2018 after the vehicle had been stored in a garage for the last 8 years. The previous owner bought the car in 2007 and used it for a couple of years until it had a couple of problems. He told me that he had only done about 1200 miles in total in his ownership. The car is showing 32000 miles at this moment in time. I believe this is the genuine mileage but I cannot prove this.
I have now owned the car for the last four years and carried out the following work to the car.
1. Modified exhaust manifold - The original one had cracked
2. New gear linkage - Seized up due to lack of use
3. Clutch kit with clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder - One of the issues why the car was taken off the road
4. Turbo wastegate actuator
5. Charge cooler pump repair kit
6. Vacuum pump for all vacuum operating valves
7. Front headlamps x 4
8. New shock absorbers
9. Rear brake discs and pads and caliper seal repair kits
10. All injector cleaned specialist repair
11. New windscreen
12. New coolant hoses/ pipes
13. All ball joint boots and clips
14. Front brake pads
15. Four tyres
16. Timing belt and tensioner
17. ungraded high flow radiator and triple electric fans

I have basically replaced anything that had deteriorated with being stood for many years without use.
I also carried out a full engine rebuild in December 2018 as i was unsure of the condition of the engine and there where various oil leaks after using the car for some months. The following work was carried out.
Piston rings
Crankshaft/ conrod all check and where perfect
full bearing set
Valves
Valve guides
Full gasket set
Oil pump
Replaced gearbox selector shaft seals and drive shaft seals with drive shaft pins
I then had the vehicle complete stripped and resprayed has the red paint had become dull in areas. This was done late 2019 - Full pics of this respray and prep are available on request,
I have keep the car original without any modifications. The radio was replaced with a modern type but old one is still with the car
I own my own repair garage in Cork Ireland. I have own many classic cars over the years. All repairs are done to the highest standards.
