Genuine aluminium-bodied EB 65.
First registered on October 13, 1933. Chassis number: 180562. Engine number: M180827.
Recent sympathetic restoration and mechanical overhaul, with emphasis on preserving originality.
Excellent working order – used extensively over the past twelve months.
Original EB 65 engine and close-ratio gearbox. Correct Zenith 30 VEI carburettor, sports suspension, etc.
Chassis in excellent condition. Aluminium body and ash frame restored to a high standard.
Excellent interior, complete with many original features. Dashboard fully functional. Original steering wheel restored. Manual ignition advance mechanism present and functional.
Good weathertight canvas roof. Easy to put up and stow away.
Engine starts ‘on the button’ and runs well. Refurbished dynamo and distributor with electronic ignition. Cooling system in good order.
Steering and suspension overhauled. No play in kingpins, etc. Rides and handles beautifully.
Brakes overhauled c/ w new cables, then run-in and correctly adjusted. Very effective.
New wiring loom. All electric working.
Four registered owners. Small folder of history including old French and British logbook copies and parts receipts. Current V5C.
Fully shaken down and ready to go. Used regularly by current family. Great fun to drive!
