This vehicle was one of thirty cars launched at a press event at the MET Police driving school in Hendon. It went on to Patrol the streets of London.
This is one of only 2 survivors from the original cars, where the roof has a white section. All other cars have only white doors. During its time in the service its call sign was XD 21 and retired from duty in 1972.
Since acquiring the vehicle it has only covered minimal mileage as it goes too and from Shows.
Selling as I have another vehicle and the car deserves to go to an enthusiast who will enjoy the attention it receives everywhere it goes.
Please note I have paperwork which proves the provenance of the car as an original car issued to the MET Police.
