Subaru Impreza SCR
Every once in a while, a very special car comes along that simply blows us away. This Impreza is one of those cars.
Meticulously conceived and built by the brainiacs at Scooby Clinic Racing (SCR) in 2017, this 22B Replica is an out and out rally inspired, track ready car designed to be taken to the limits. With a build cost of more than £50, 000 in parts and labour alone it is exceptional in it’s quality and spectacle.
Built as a promotional demo car for SCR themselves, the car has largely spent most of its life stored at SCR’s dry storage facility and was only taken to trade shows every now and then. They then sold it to its last owner who stored the car in his own warm garage and rarely used It himself. Having spoken to both previous owners, we can confirm that it has not even been tracked or raced yet and so it presents just as it did when it was built 5 years ago. 3000 miles have been covered in total since the build.
Using a Type-R shell, SCR completely stripped it right back, incorporated a 22B kit and the whole car was repainted to the highest standard in stunning white and once finished the various wrap and graphics were added and really gave it a stand-out appearance.
During the build it benefitted from new front headlamps, rear lamps, new glass all round, 4 brand new Toyo tyres, 4 new wheels together with a fully wax oiled underside and chassis. The interior still presents in superb order and had new carpets, dash, full roll cage, Cobra Pro-fit Sebring red and black bucket seats, Sparco red 6-point harnesses were all fitted to give it the full race ready set-up.
Mechanically it is a masterpiece. SCR used a 2. 1 fully forged rebuilt engine with an uprated gearbox, differential and drive shafts. Paired with a Syvecs ECU with an anti-lag feature that helps it produce circa 410BHP.
The chassis has had the same love and attention with bespoke set-up consisting of:
- Full poly bush kit, front and rear ARB'S
- New Bilstein coil-overs
- Castor Kit
- New Forged 2. 1 with avics
- Blouch SC46 Billet turbo
- Cold air induction kit
- New wiring loom
- R180 diff, shafts with hubs.
- New 5 speed DCCD helical gear kit
- New clutch and flywheel
- Syvecs ECU
- SCR big brake kit.
- Cobra exhaust system

Prospective buyers are welcome to test drive and inspect this car in our workshop and raise the car on our ramp to marvel at its immaculate underside, which is truly as immaculate as the top half!
This special car will be supplied with a full MOT and a fresh oil and filter service.
