1972 Mini 1275 GT in FACTORY MUSTARD YELLOW with CREAM interior trim. The condition of the body on this 50 year old mini is mind blowing. It has been fully restored but items like the floor pans are original and the condition prior to restoration was good, but showing its age. It drives wonderfully and is very responsive due to the carburettor set up which makes it pull very strongly through the gears. I have taken a number of pictures to show the quality of the restoration and time that has been taken to bring this iconic car back to the road and to be enjoyed once again.
It starts very well when cold and is light and easy to drive while having all of the charm of a 70s fast mini. When you lift the carpets and look in the boot it looks better than when they were new and the external paint finish is outstanding. This very rare MUSTARD YELLOW 1275 GT is a real head turning and would make a wonderful show car. This is a full nut and bolt rebuild based on a sound car.
The steering wheel is MOMO burwalnut trim, I also have the original leather bound GT steering wheel which is included. The interior is very original inc the seats, carpets and roof lining which is all refurbished and looking great. As you would expect it drives really well and is very responsive while feeling tight and young due to all of the running gear, suspension and brakes only covering about 6748 miles since engine rebuild. This really needs to be seen to fully appreciate the final finish and quality of the build.
It has had little use since completion and needs running-in by its new owner. Every part has been carefully cleaned, refinished or replaced and the end result is very striking. The boot is immaculate where you will also find a new matching spare wheel and wheel trim. This is a rare opportunity to own an immaculate Mini 1275 GT.
