This bike is being re advertised from the Autumn due a timewasting dreamer on Ebay who bought the bike, then changed his mind twice, never saw the bike and then became abusive, so only genuine buyers this time please.
This is a beautiful 1984 Iron head that was imported from the USA last year as a non running project which I have now fully restored. The bike is matching numbers and is fully registered in the UK with the V5 in my name. The bike starts, runs, rides, sounds and stops as an Iron head should, this is a real head turner and always attracts a group of admiring onlookers whenever you pull up.
A brief outline of the work carried out includes:
Frame stripped and powder coated
Tank and fenders freshly painted with base coat and lacquered with 2K
New battery
New chrome battery casing
New speedo
New chain and sprockets
New air filter
New horn
New front Road Rider
4 new chrome foot pegs
New choke cable and puller
New front fender
Replacement Sportster seat
Replacement CV carb
The wheels are in excellent condition with excellent paint and polished alloy
Engine casings and forks etc. all polished to a high standard
On the downside it has a missing fin on the rear cylinder, see photos
The bike has 12 month MOT and has done 200 trouble free miles since it's restoration and has that real iconic presence on the road
