I purchased the car 2 years ago from the Aston Martin main dealer - Aston Martin Hatfield and have only driven approximately 400 miles since purchase. The Carbon Black Edition is a Special Edition model that was a higher specification and was more expensive than the standard DBS. Unique to the Carbon Black Edition model is bespoke Carbon Black metallic paintwork, especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep, rich patina, and which requires 50 man-hours of hand-painting to apply and detail, according to Aston Martin. The bodywork paint combines perfectly with the black gloss finish on the inner edges of the 20-inch alloys. Contrasting this is a Magnum silver mesh covering the bonnet vents and diamond-turned surfaces of the wheels. The stunning interior is in Obsidian black leather, including the seats with silver stitching done by hand. There is a Piano Black fascia trim that is also used for the centre stack and centre console, along with anodised black tread plates and unique carbon fibre sill plaques with the DBS Carbon Black logo. The car has a Bang & Olufsen sound system, Ceramic brakes, Heated Electric Seats, Sat Nav, Electric Power hood etc and cost £200, 000 when new. Garaged in my dehumidified garage and only driven in the dry. Only selling due to not having the time to enjoy this car frequently enough. Lower priced part exchange considered.
