Welcome to the sale of my Mercedes CL500.
I’m selling because I have too many other cars and have a itch for a R129 that needs scratching.
I also have a 2003 (04 Model Year) BMW E46 330ci convertible Msport SMG , Topaz Blue with grey nappa leather and carbon fibre interior
60k miles in similar excellent condition which I'd consider selling. One has to go to make space for a R129. Message me for details.
I would consider a swap/ part ex with a Mercedes R129 SL280/ 300/ 320 (cash either way), but it would have to be an excellent example with low mileage and with FSH.
The CL500 drives exactly as it should. Such a lovely car. This is one of, if not the most comfortable car I’ve ever had.

Exterior is fantastic. Excellent paintwork with just a couple of marks commensurate with age. A very slight bubble on one wheel arch lip and a tiny bubble on the roof, both of which are barely noticeable, you have to look for them. Both were present when I purchased and have not changed at all during my ownership. I've tried to show them in the pictures, but they're so small it's difficult to see them.
Mechanically : Perfect. Engine runs virtually silently. Suspension perfect, no ABC pump or suspension issues.
Interior is “as new”. Absolutely no marking to the leather or trim. Everything works perfectly, all electrics, air con, soft close doors etc
