Restored by previous owner using several pattern parts (wheel rims, headlamp, saddle, mudguards) and stainless steel fasteners, so far from original or 'purist'.
The charging system does not work although dynamo and control box are present. The battery is a modern one inside a dummy case which operates the lights for a reasonable time.
The kickstart quadrant is worn, so it sometimes sticks, or slips, but works most of the time.
After refurbishing the carburettor with new float and float needle it starts and runs well.
The speedo has been refurbished and so only indicates the 80 miles I have ridden it.
I bought it to ride not as a collectors item, but I recently crocked my right hip (not starting this machine!).
Also moving to a house with smaller garage, so I have to reduce my fleet. It was a post vintage itch I needed to scratch, but I can't see me riding it enough in future to justify the space it takes up.
