1993 Jaguar Sovereign 4. 0 Automatic.
This is a 93/ 94 model year car, battery in boot, post Ford acquisition of Jaguar.
The car was registered 22/ 01/ 1993 and is in Flamenco Red with Magnolia Leather.
There are two previous keepers to myself.
It was a company car for the first 18 months of its life, before passing to its long term first private owner in September 1994.
I purchased the car from the first private owner in May 2016.
The car was well specified by the first owner, with the following optional extras from Jaguar: -
* Front Fog Lamps
* Heated Front Windscreen
* Heated Front Seats
* Electric Sliding Sunroof
* Magnolia Trim
* Contrast Cherry Piping on the leather.
* Boot Mounted CD Changer
The car has also benefited from the 5-spoke alloy wheels, which the previous owner stated were already fitted when he purchased the car in 1994. There is a matching alloy wheel as the spare in the boot.
The private registration (K3 PNA) will remain with the car as I consider it part of the cars history & heritage.
It has been a cherished car for its whole life and is in very good original condition all round.
Since I purchased the car, I have had the following work conducted: -
* June 2016 - Full Service, Gearbox fault cleared, Upper wishbone bushes, Upper damper bushes, Diff output bearings, Front brake callipers, Front discs & pads.
* Sept 2016 - Replace HVAC Vacuum Control Valve, Wheel Alignment & Cavity Wax Treatment.
* July 2017 - Oil Service & MOT, Rear Springs & Dampers.
* December 2017 - A/ C Rebuild (new condenser, dryer & compressor).
* September 2017 - Rebuild Rear Differential, new track rod ends & A-Frame Bushes.
* January 2018 - Alloy Wheel Refurbishment, Repair corrosion to O/ S Front Wing, Repair Corrosion to sill ends, Strip Repair & Paint Sunroof Panel, Corrosion repairs to inner wings, Replace N/ S Front Wing.
* June 2018 - Oil Service & MOT, New Washer Pump, New Oil Pressure Switch, New Front Upper Shock Bushes.
* July 2019 - Oil Service & MOT.
* March 2020 - New Windscreen (Custom made by Pilkington for heated windscreen option and with original Triplex branding).
* August 2020 - Oil Service & MOT, Adjust from wheel bearings, Replace gearbox mounting, Replace rear bump stops, Grease Suspension points.
* August 2021 - Oil Service & MOT, New Front Discs & Pads.
There are two Jaguar service books with the car. The original is complete and the second is currently in use.
The next service & MOT will be due in August 2022.
The car is currently on Pirelli P7 tyres all round with plenty of tread.
A Jaguar branded Metex Car Cover will be included with the car. The car has always been garaged, covered and on trickle charge whilst in previous & my care.
The front bulkhead (known rust spot) is in very good condition. Any scabs have been rubbed back and treated. The duckbill drain and plenum area are clear.
The original toolkit is complete and present in the boot.
Original Owners Book Pack, Brochures, Jaguar/ Daimler Heritage Certificate, Dealer branded key fobs & Number Plates (Mead of Chelmsford) and three keys are present.
This is a reluctant sale as I have cherished the car. However, its use is now minimal and I have another XJ81 undergoing significant refurbishment.
