For the last 10 years ‘Carrots’ has been a reliable part of our family life, taking us on holidays, weekends away and numerous adventures.
Now a growing family means that we must sell. Garaged for the last 10 years and professionally maintained by Malc at 181 Classic Motors, Carrots is a solid, reliable, and honest family friendly classic camper.
The Carrots will be celebrating 50 years in January 2023 and like all of us is far from perfect, but the 1600 Air Cooled engine has been regularly serviced and proven rock-solid for the last 10 years.
The body work has been lightly restored and resprayed before lockdown, a couple of years before the front beam was replaced with a brand-new stock height beam. Inside there is the original Devon Weekender rear storage unit and table and a full width rock and roll bed providing seating for 3 that folds flat to form a double bed. A cab hammock provides a child’s bunk above the steering wheel. There is floor space for a travel cot
Carrots comes with a certificate of manufacture from the Volkswagen factory, the original service book with stamps to 100, 000, full history for the last 10 years, 5 brand new tyres and a recent safety certificate.
