Honda SS125A in maroon and silver. Registered in 1970 in the UK from new, NOT an American import. The whole bike has been meticulously rebuilt from the ground up. All chromework has been replated including the original DID rims and the exhaust pipes/ silencers, seat is NOS (new old stock) not recovered, and the paintwork is near perfect. New tyres/ tubes with the original DID wheels rebuilt with stainless steel spokes. The fuel tank is excellent inside and out. The engine was professionally overhauled by the legendary engineer Pete O’Dell, including rebore/ pistons and a cylinder head rebuild with new valves, seats recut etc. and it's done zero miles since it was done. Comes with original owners handbook, correct tool kit and a huge amount of invoices and receipts totalling over £4000 spent. Classic Honda ‘afficianados’ will see that the bike is about as correct as possible. V5C present and two keys.
The bike is absolutely superb so zoom in on the photos to see the attention to detail and compare with other SS125’s.
It is registered as ‘historic’ so therefore qualifies as £0 road tax and MOT exempt. An additional bonus is that it is ‘learner friendly’. Another one of my collection up for sale as I am slowly reducing the number of bikes in preparation for downsizing and retirement.
