In the last 5 years the car has been maintained by VW (MJ Warner) and has had considerable work carried out:-
16/ 11/ 21 - Full cambelt and water pump change at 121, 954 miles. The car is now on 129k miles
At the same time the camshaft was all changed together with all followers, seals and bolts. This work was invoiced for £830.
5/ 11/ 21 - Full service at VW and including fuel pump, front tyres, CV gaitor, rear wiper motor, all wiper blades and rear bushes.
21/ 7/ 21 - New Exhaust system including the catalytic converter carried out at VW and invoiced for £742
The car has been serviced yearly and there are 16 stamps in the service book.
The car is completely original and has not been mapped or altered in any way.
The sills and jacking points are in perfect condition, free from rust and any damage.
It drives very well and smoothly and has excellent power from the ARL PD150 engine.
Excellent on fuel and consistently returns well over 50 mpg on a run.
All the electrics work perfectly. The car locks and unlocks without fault from both key fobs.
This is a very well maintained low mileage example with exemplary service history. It comes with two sets of remote key fobs, the service books and manuals and all invoices for the last 5 years work at VW.
Only selling due to a change in work circumstances and no longer require a diesel for commuting.
