Description
As South Africa never got the original BMW M3, BMW SA created the 325iS to compete in the SA production Saloon car race series. Several body panels such as the bonnet, doors and front fenders were made of aluminum. The M20 engine was now 2. 7 L and produced 145 kW. These cars were extremely competitive on track. These cars are very rare with approximately 508 cars built which includes the Evo 2 which had all steel panels and 155kw . Standard cars are now exceedingly rare, and values in recent times have shot up to very high levels. Late last year 2021 one of these cars sold for (ZAR 1 Million.)
