Description
This 1986 Porsche 928 S4 has been owned by the same person for the last ten years and, in that time, she’s spent thousands of pounds maintaining it, all of which is documented in a huge folder of invoices dating back to 2010. Work of note includes four new tyres, new sills, new ignition barrel, various electrical repairs, wheel refurbishment, three-point rear seatbelts, front wheel bearings, new antiroll bar bushes, and much more. The Porsche was last serviced in May 2021.
All this work is reflected in the way the car drives – it really does feel good.
That’s the good news. On the other side of the coin, the car’s Marine Blue Metallic paintwork is poor in places; namely the sunroof and the front right-hand wing. Also, while most of the blue pinstripe seat fabric is good, the rear right seat back is split, as is the driver’s bolster. Some spare pinstripe fabric is included. There are also some typical splits in the dashboard. However, these are all cosmetic issues and the car is basically sound and well-maintained. It wouldn’t take much to bring the car up to the new level. Note that the rear bumper with full-width reflector is from a later 928 GTS.
This is a car we are selling on behalf of the owner, so doesn’t include any form of warranty. You’d be most welcome to come and see the Porsche for yourself and chat with us about it.
