We are very pleased to offer a very sexy and retro styled 1997 Rover Mini Kensington. This very rare example which is finished in Whitehall beige has spent most of its life in Japan and was imported into the UK in 2016 and as such has lived a charmed life and is wonderfully preserved. The looks have been given the subtle MK3 "S" treatment with Cooper S reverse rims, MK3 rear lights, bullet mirrors, wavy grille and two chrome spot lamps. This is a very good looking Mini that gets lots of attention.
On the road this Mini drives very well. It has a very smooth and almost silent fuel injected 1275 engine which is mated to a four speed Auto gearbox. I have always been a big fan of Automatic Minis, they are so much fun to drive and they really give that Go-Kart feel. Simply select drive and off you go. This is also a fuel injected Mini so all you need to do to get out on the open road is turn the key and go. This Mini also has ten inch Cooper S wheels with wider profile 165 profile tyres so it offers the pure Mini driving experience, pin sharp handling and a smooth ride. It also has servo operated Cooper S disc brakes so it also stops very well.
The interior is in fantastic condition and is surely one of the nicest Mini interiors out there, it has a real luxury feel. Full Tartan red leather seats with matching door cards and carpets finished off with chrome door trim. It also has a full length Walnut dash with matching door caps. The best part is the ice cold Air conditioning which is a real bonus on hot days, this is a very well designed system that is very effective. This model also features a drivers Airbag and side impact beams. It has an uprated DAB stereo with Handsfree calling.
This Mini has a fantastic shell and is still body coloured underneath as well as inside all four wheel arches, it has its original floor pans, boot floor and external panels. The paintwork is well presented and is virtually blemish free, most of the chrome work has also been replaced. This Mini is a fantastic all round package offering fantastic looks and rarity and you will almost certainly never see another one the same.
The Mini is fully serviced and has a full MOT so is ready to go and be driven and enjoyed.
