Exterior: This Lotus Elan has a nice striking red paint. Only some very small blisters on the trunk. Rolling on a set of new Minilite wheels. These early models of Lotus Elan did not have the chromed window frames and they look very different from the later cars. This means there is some plastic guides to put on each side of the doors and then a convertible frame. Last you can fit the vinyl soft top to the car.
Interior: All the Lotus Elan interior pieces are there. Nice wooden dashboard. Good seats. Instruments are working. Choke is temporary with a wire. Side windows are simply pulled up by hand on these early models and made of plexiglass.
Engine: The engine starts right up and sounds very good. Gearbox feels nice and firm. Normal brakes are ok. Han brake needs some work.
History: Looks like it was registered for the first time in Sweden 1973. Last technical inspection was in 2000 and it has not been in traffic since. Original books along with the car and some receipts etc.
