The car has been stood for approximately 7 years. It is a project car which requires a significant amount of work to make really nice again,
or a bit less if you just want to get it on the road! 5 previous keepers. Logbook is present. No service history although some on Govt. MOT history online, 2006 to it's last MOT which ran out 28/ 5/ 15. It starts, runs and stops (although I've only driven it a few tens of feet). The interior is partially dismantled (mainly door cards and airbag , door handles and window winders). Looks to have correct (rare) wheels, tyres with decent tread, no cracks and stay inflated. (although too old to be safe for road use). Most parts for the interior appear to be there with extra door cards. The sills have some rust holes (rear and front) and the rear passenger wheel arch has rust. The paintwork on the bonnet and rear C pilar upper has lacquer peel. A few but not too many scratches or marks on the rest of the body although the finish is rough due to ageing and lack of proper cleaning/ polish and bumpers and drivers door have been resprayed in the past. There appears to be brake fluid leaking from the rear. The exhaust is there but is not connected at the back box. There is a boot lock/ handle in the car in the correct colour to replace the broken one. I would say that the car needs, as well as all the usual service items, two new sills, a complete brake overhaul and a full respray to make it really nice again, as well all the interior cleaning and sorting out. If you did the vital mechanical work, properly welded up the areas need and polished it up and maybe found a good red bonnet, then it would look reasonable without a respray. I've tried to point out the faults that I can see, feel and smell but there may be others, wheel bearings etc. If you know anything about these then you know how few there are about, let alone ones for sale. I'm open to offers as obviously the car needs a fair bit of work, although once done it will be a real head turner! Please come to view the car before making an offer. It can be driven off the public highway for a "test run" a short distance. I can deliver as part of the sale if required. It needs to be transported, it will not be driven away on the road.
